About Haley

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate and committed to helping people heal and live their best lives. Before I started my path to becoming a Therapist I was a struggling college student at Cal Poly, SLO. I was unsure about my current major (which at the time was Wine and Viticulture), navigating an unhealthy relationship, dealing with depression and questioning everything. I sought the guidance of a wise, validating, nurturing, passionate therapist who helped me turn it all around. Counseling assisted me in finding direction and that direction led me on the path to becoming a therapist. My journey has not ended and as I move through adulthood I continue to find pieces of myself that need examining, reflecting, and tenderness. I have made it my mission to explore what it means to heal and self examine on a personal level and for those I work with. I feel life is a constantly evolving mosaic of learning about your self, changing, and accepting. I hope to assist you on your journey.

I gradated from Cal Poly with a degree in Social Science and later earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. The focus of my clinical experience in my private practice, at Acacia Counseling and Wellness, and while working at Santa Barbara City College has been aimed at counseling and supporting a diverse group young adults with varying concerns. I have additional experience facilitating mental wellness groups/trainings and creating original content for programming, trainings, and group therapy.

Outside of working as a therapist, I enjoy learning about astrology, staying active, being with family and friends, learning to golf (much harder than it looks) and the guilty pleasure of a good Netflix marathon. I hope to meet and connect with you!
